This technology is actually pretty amazing:
A computer calculates the similarities from thousands of different images, and combines them into an ever changing 3D model of the world or where ever in it. The real “wow” effect starts after a few minutes. They grabbed a bunch of photo’s from flickr of the Notre-Dame in Paris, some good, some bad, some high end, some low end, quite some with people on it, and they created a 3D model out of the cathedral out of all those images.
