Hilarious video where stand-up comedienne Anita Renfroe adapts the William Tell Overture
by Rossini. She condensed everything a mother tells her teenage children in 24 hours to two minutes. Hilarious!

I like Anita, she’s done some great other “songs” as well. Maybe I’ll post some more work of her the following weeks. (via Joren)

Howto charge your iPod with an Onion

I came across this nice video. What do you do when you only have an USB charger for your iPod, but no computer around to connect it to? You grab an onion, some Gatorade and charge your iPod with the onion. Now there’s only one problem. As of right now, onions do not properly install updated firmware for any iPods of any generation. Hopefully, Apple will fix this oversight in the next Software Update.

Oh and there’s another problem. It’s a fake :) The iPod gets charged by the laptop that’s underneath it. But hey, it looks cool :)

Trick a green trafic light with your bike!

Most trafic lights have “car sensors” that sense cars. When a car arrives, the lights change. Most of those sensors are tailored for traditional cars, made of lots of metal. Most bikes, motorcycles or even small new cars, don’t have enough “metal” in them to get noticed by the inductive loops at trafficlights. This video shows a small trick you can use, using small but powerful neodymium magnets.
